Milford stays undefeated with 1-0 win over Cape

MILFORD, Del.- Behind the games only goal coming from Sam Dominguez in the third quarter, the Milford Bucs defeated Cape Henlopen 1-0. The win improves Milford to 9-0-1 and the loss drops Cape to 5-3-1.

It was a physical game from the start with both teams getting their share of calls. It remained scoreless up until the 15th minute of the third quarter when Sam Dominguez got a sweet pass from Alex Davis and Dominguez nutmegged a defender en route to the goal. The Bucs held on to that lead behind a few huge saves from keeper Kirk Hammer late.

The Bucs are supposed to travel to Dover on Friday to play the Senators but due to a COVID outbreak at Milford, that matchup is in jeopardy. The Vikings return to the field Thursday when they host Polytech at 6:30.
