Local woman provides food to those in need

FRUITLAND, Md. – One local woman is spreading kindness to those who need it, with no questions asked.

A woman named Deborah Ritterson posted on Facebook that she stocked a “Kindness Box” that is attached to her fence. The box is fully stocked with non-perishables for anyone in need of food to grab. Inside are things like corn, beans, chili, peanut butter, soups, and more.

The Kindness Box is located at 413 Hayward Avenue in Fruitland.
