Holiday Wrappings Fashion Show going virtual

DELAWARE – Cancer hasn’t stopped during the covid-19 pandemic, and that’s why the American Cancer Society Holiday Wrappings fashion show is going virtual this year. The virtual show will highlight fashion from local retailers, share holiday food and drink recipes, and gift ideas. All of that, in an effort to raise money and awareness for cancer research.

Dawne Pappas, the chair of the event, said she and other organizers knew they still had to put the event on even if it had to be adjusted a bit.

“Cancer hasn’t stopped and neither can we, because people still are in need of treatment, there are still researchers out there that are working very hard,” she said.

If you want a virtual seat at the event, you can buy tickets here. All money will go toward ResearchHERS, an entirely female cancer fighting movement.
