Drug investigation leads to multiple charges for Salisbury man

SALISBURY, Md. – A Salisbury man has been arrested following an investigation into the suspected distribution of cocaine from a residence.

On November 6th, officers established surveillance on the suspect, 38-year-old Quinton Hayward, at a residence in the 500 block of Bailey Lane. Hayward was seen leaving the residence in a vehicle and was subsequently stopped, and a search and seizure warrant was executed on his residence.

During the search, detectives located an amount of crack cocaine indicative of distribution, as well as numerous individually packaged bags of crack cocaine ready for sale, digital scales, packaging material, and cash. Detectives found additional evidence that indicated Hayward was manufacturing crack cocaine inside of his residence, and items related to the sale of CDS were located throughout the residence.

Hayward was subsequently arrested and charged with possession with the intent to distribute cocaine, manufacturing crack cocaine, possession of cocaine, maintaining a common nuisance, and possession of manufacturing equipment.
