City of Dover offices closed due to positive COVID-19 tests

DOVER, Del. – City of Dover officials say their offices have closed temporarily after a few internal employees tested positive for COVID-19.

We’re told this is a preventative measure, in order to allow them to have a company to come in to mist all surfaces, stagger staff, and limit any additional exposure to the public.

Although city offices are closed, business will still be conducted via email and phone. In addition, the drive thru services at 5 E. Reed Street will also remain open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Officials say they hope to reopen the facilities within the next couple of weeks.
