American Legion Post 16 donates to Crisfield Police Department for annual toy and blanket drive

CRISFIELD, Md. – An organization is trying to help their local police department make sure that kids stay warm and have toys to open on Christmas.

On Monday, the American Legion Post 16 made a $1,000 check out to the Crisfield Police Department. The money will go towards supporting the police department’s annual toy and blanket drive.

On Facebook, the Crisfield Police Department thanked Commander Waters and the entire Legion for their generous donation, and they’re encouraging the entire community to donate what they can to make this year’s tradition a success.
