Ward Museum’s 2nd annual Fall Migration Gala going virtual in November due to COVID-19
SALISBURY, Md.- The Ward Museum is hosting their 2nd annual Fall Migration Gala and silent auction all online this year.
The virtual gala will start on November 6 and the silent action will be held on November 2nd to the 8th.
During the gala, people can experience musical performances, carving and art demonstrations, and poetry reading.
The silent auction will feature a wide collection of decoys, original art, and experiences that you can bid on.
We are told these events and the money raised is crucial to providing the Eastern Shore with art experiences.
“In a normal year, its definitely an important fundraiser, but in this year in particular it’s even more important than ever I think, and we are just here to serve our community, to be a place where people can experience art and heritage,” Eric Stewart, Marketing and Communications Coordinator for the museum, said.
We are told the support of the fundraiser will impact more than 20,000 people reached annually through the Museum’s educational program.
The Gala will run from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m.
