Town of Berlin announces traffic pattern changes at Broad Street and Harrison Avenue

BERLIN, Md. – Town of Berlin officials have announced that traffic control devices will be installed at the corner of Broad Street and Harrison Avenue to direct westbound traffic turning from Broad Street onto Harrison Avenue.

Orange and white bollards will be installed to improve safety and visibility at the corner as well to keep road traffic off of the private property.

Town Administrator Jeff Fleetwood says that some vehicles are traveling across the corner of the former Berlin Farm Supply parking area, and are actually driving across private property which is intended to be developed into a parking lot for the business at that corner.

We’re told installation is expected to be complete by the end of next week.
