Sussex Tech staff member tests positive for COVID-19, campus to close for deep cleaning

SELBYVILLE, Del. – Another staff member at the Sussex County Vocational Technical School District has tested positive for COVID-19, officials announced on Wednesday.

We’re told the staff member followed proper social distancing and mask-wearing protocols while on campus. People who were in contact with the staff member have been notified individually.

Out of abundance of caution, Sussex Tech will be closing campus on Thursday and Friday, October 29th and 30th, for a deep cleaning. 12-month staff members should report on Friday.
