Sussex Tech staff member and student test positive for COVID-19

SUSSEX CO., Del. — On Friday, the Sussex County Vocational Technical School District announced that a student and a staff member have tested positive for COVID-19.

We’re told the school district will be closing their campus to all students and instructional staff for the entire week of Nov. 2nd to the Nov.6th,

The District encouraged all families to monitor students for any symptoms of COVID-19. The District adheres to strict cleaning, social distancing, and hygiene protocols, including mandatory masking and frequent hand-washing and hand sanitizer use.

We’re told all 12 month employees will report to work on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
