Smyrna residence damaged in shots fired incident, police investigating

SMYRNA, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating a shots fired incident that happened late Sunday night in Smyrna.

We’re told that just after 11 p.m., troopers responded to a residence on Kristin Court for a report of shots fired. It was discovered that the residence was hit by a single bullet, shattering a bathroom window. The residence was occupied at the time of the incident, but no one was injured.

At this time, police say there is no description of the suspect.
