Rider defense, Cale’s catch power Caesar Rodney to shutout win

GEORGETOWN, Del. – Caesar Rodney opened their 2020 football season with a shutout of Sussex Tech, 14-0.

Deontre Cale’s incredible catch in the third quarter gave the Riders what proved to be an insurmountable two-score lead.

Caesar Rodney (1-0) will play Sussex Central at Rider Stadium Friday at 7 PM. Sussex Tech (0-1) will travel to play Polytech in week two.
