POLICE: Homicide Investigation underway in Salisbury after body found floating in lake

SALISBURY, Md. – A homicide investigation is underway in Salisbury after police say a female’s body was found floating in Johnson Lake on Sunday.

Sheriff Mike Lewis with the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office says one suspect has been arrested and charged. He adds that one additional arrest is expected.

On Facebook, members of the Johnson Lake Neighborhood Association reacted to the news. They said, “The incident appears to have nothing to do with our neighborhood, and it seems that neither person were from our neighborhood. We are all heartbroken and shocked. Please always watch out for and love each other.”
