Police: Dover man arrested for pulling gun on individual
DOVER, Del. – Dover Police say they arrested a man on multiple charges after they saw him pull a gun on a person on Wednesday evening.
At around 6 p.m., officers in the area of West Division Street and South West Street observed 39-year-old Christin Brown pull a handgun and point it at another person in the area, who then fled on foot. Officers immediately contact Brown, who was found in possession of a loaded 9mm handgun, three loaded magazines, and a bag with alcoholic beverages. It was also determined that Brown was legally intoxicated at the time of the incident.
Brown was subsequently arrested and charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, carrying a concealed deadly weapon, possession of a firearm while under the influence, public intoxication, and local fugitive (capias).
He was held at SCI on a $15,001 secured bond.
We’re told it is unknown who the subject was, as they did not contact police.
