Indian River tops Seaford in season opener

Indians outscore Jays 14-6 in second half

SEAFORD, De- The Indian River football team won their season opener on Friday night, defeating Seaford 22-12 at Bob Dowd Stadium.

Sophomore defensive back Hayden Hill scored the first points of the game, stripping a Seaford defender near the goal line and taking the ball back 95-yards for a touchdown.

IR (1-0) moves to host Laurel next week, while Seaford (0-1) travels to take on Delmar.
