Dorchester County Public Schools announce changes to food services for students

DORCHESTER COUNTY, Md. — Dorchester County Public Schools announced some important changes to food services on Friday, just ahead of the school district’s transition into its hybrid learning model, set for the week of October 12th.

DCPS says starting Tuesday, Grab-and-go bags will only be available on Mondays from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at schools and 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. from the board of education building. School officials are reminding residents that Grab-and-go bags are for DCPS students only and can only be picked up by the child or a parent.

School officials say if your child is in school,  then they will be given meals there.  If its a virtual learning day for your child, their meals will come from their grab-and-go bag, picked up on Mondays.
