Chincoteague Police help celebrate boy’s birthday
CHINCOTEAGUE, Va. – The Chincoteague Police Department recently helped celebrate a young boy’s birthday.
7-year-old Bryan White Jr. has a chromosomal disorder, which causes him to have problems with impulse control. His mom Carrie White tells us that he’s been teased and bullied in school, and for the last two years, no one showed up to his birthday party. She says this year the same thing happened, until Chincoteague Police showed up with lights and sirens blaring, with four loads of gifts just for him.
His mom says they even took him for a ride in the squad car around the block. She is thanking these officers, calling them her heroes for making her son’s day.
