Sand Castle Home Tours going virtual
OCEAN CITY, Md. – For the last fifteen years people have loved touring homes in Ocean City as part of the art league’s sand castle home tour. This year, in the midst of the pandemic, people will still be able to do that, but a bit differently.
The Art League of Ocean City announced the home tours are going virtual this year in an effort to keep everyone safe and slow the spread of covid-19.
From October first until the 15, ticket holders will be able to logon and tour the homes virtually from the comfort of their own homes.
Rina Thaler, the executive director of the art league, tells 47 ABC they still felt it was important to put the event on even with some changes. She says that there’s even some new things this year that people haven’t been able to experience before.
“It’s going to have a lot of extra little pizzazz to it that you normally don’t get on the home tours, a lot of content, people will be able to see the decorators, and the builders,” she said.
If you want more information or to purchase tickets for the virtual event you can head to the art league’s website.
