Police: Man, partially naked, commits lewd act in front of 16-year-old

GEORGETOWN, Del. – A Georgetown man is facing charges after police say he committed a lewd act while partially naked in front of a 16-year-old girl.

Police say on Friday around 6:50 at night the 16-year-old victim left the Georgetown Walmart and walked to her car. Police say the suspect, 30-year-old Myron Hopkins, tried talking to the girl while he was partially naked and committed a lewd act.

The victim immediately called her parents and police. We’re told there was also a 2-year-old child in the victim’s car at the time of the incident.

Hopkins was later arrested and now faces charges that include indecent exposure, sexual harassment, and endangering the welfare of a child.
