New annual event: SunFunOC heading to Ocean City this weekend led by Trimper’s Rides

OCEAN CITY, Md.- Ocean City Trimper’s Rides is ending their season with a new annual event called SunFunOC that will happen this weekend.

Trimper’s Rides said it has been disappointing that many of Ocean City events have been canceled this year due to COVID-19, such as SunFest.

So, with this new event they hope to bring smiles on the faces of visitors and locals despite the cancellations.

At the event, there will be 30 vendors, two dollar food menus, and music.

We are told that right now they could use the support from the community, so they hope people will enjoy what they have to offer.

“Stretching our season is really important to us to survive as it is every business in Ocean City, you know we are all struggling and if you can come and support ocean city businesses this is the time to do it, this is the time to show your love,” Antoinette Bruno, President of Trimper’s Rides, said.

SunFunOC will officially begin Friday and go until Sunday.

Vendors will be open on south first street at 11 a.m. and will be there until 5 p.m.

We are told Marty’s Playland is doing 50% off all video games and the Inlet Village will do a sidewalk sale.
