MAC Center pushes for seniors to vote by mail ahead of Election Day

SALISBURY, Md. – The MAC Senior Center in Salisbury is pushing for seniors to vote by mail ahead of Election Day.
The MAC Center tells 47ABC there are concerns about risk of exposure to COVID-19 at polling places.
So, they are urging senior citizens to vote from the safety of their homes.
They say they plan on distributing information about how to request a mail-in ballot as well as information on where seniors can go for early voting prior to Election Day.
“So, MAC is committed to informing seniors in all four counties that we serve about ways in which seniors can vote and remain safe,” said Carol Zimmerman, director of the Life Bridges Project at MAC.
You can also find more resources on how you can vote by mail and much more on the MAC Senior Center website.
