Indian River School District revises hybrid schedule
SELBYVILLE, Del. – The Indian River Board of Education has approved a revised hybrid learning schedule that will allow for an earlier in-person start for students in grades 4 through 8.
Under the revised schedule, hybrid students in grades 4 through will begin receiving in-person instruction the week of October 12th, while hybrid students in grades 7 and 8 will begin receiving in-person instruction the week of October 19th. Hybrid students in grades 2 and 3 will begin the week of October 5th, as previously scheduled.
We’re told instruction schedules will remain the same for students participating in remote learning for the first marking period.
The revised in-person schedule is as follows:
- September 17-October 2: Grades PreK-1 (Cohorts A & B)
- October 5-9: Grades PreK-3 (Cohorts A & B)
- October 12-16: Grades PreK-6 (Cohorts A & B)
- October 19-November 17 (Cohorts A & B)
The hybrid schedule for high schoolers will remain the same, with only 9th grade students receiving in-person instruction during the first marking period. Those students will begin attending in-person on November 9th.
