Hogs and Heroes Foundation helps raise money for families of fallen police officers

OCEAN CITY, Md. – Many bikers from across the state teamed up this week to help raise money for families of fallen police officers in Maryland.

For two days, members of the Hogs and Heroes Foundation placed blue buckets at different businesses in Ocean City for donations.

Members of the foundation say they raised about $2,000 dollars and the money will go to the group Maryland Concerns of Police Survivors. They say raising money in the time of a pandemic has been tough so this fundraiser was needed.

“We’re about keeping the community safe, but we’re also about making sure that we raise money for our concerns and our biggest concern is the Maryland Concern of Police Survivors, Maryland COPS,” said Hogs and Heroes Founder Andrew “Devildoc” Mutchler.

Members of the Hogs and Heroes Foundation say they’ll continue to raise more money for the Maryland Concerns of Police Survivors. For more information on how you can help, click here.
