First Annual Working Together for A Better Crisfield Festival to be held Friday

CRISFIELD, Md. – In Crisfield, the community is gearing up for their First Annual Working Together for A Better Crisfield Festival.

The festival will take place this Friday at the Crisfield Elks Lodge Number 1044.

Event organizers say the festival is all part of their efforts to revive the city.

They say the event will benefit local organizations that have been impacted by the pandemic.

“Hopefully next year between the Legion and the Elks Lodge both working together and that’s the key,” said the Elks Lodge #1044 Exalted Ruler Erick Emely.

“Our community needs to come together and work together, and I think that we can build our town back,” said Emely.

The event is now sold out; however, event organizers say they are planning on hosting more events like this one in the future.
