Dover Police say they are looking for suspect in armed robbery incident at a Royal Farms that happened Friday

DOVER, Del.- Dover Police is investigating an armed robbery that happened Friday night at a Royal Farms convenience store on the corner of Saulsbury Rd. and West North St.

Police said around 10:43 p.m. the suspect entered the Royal Farms and waited in line at the registers.

We are told when he was at the counter, he showed a handgun and demanded cash from the employee.

Police said the employee complied and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash towards the area of Simon Circle.

We are told the suspect was described as a black male, wearing a navy blue sweatshirt, dark sweatpants, black winter hat, and a face mask.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call police at (302)736-7130.
