Developing Artist Collaboration expands Meterless Mondays event into new opportunity for the Fall months

REHOBOTH, Del.- The organization, Developing Artist Collaboration, is extending an event it’s been holding on Meterless Mondays.

The concept of Meterless Mondays began in the Summer to support downtown businesses and for the Developing Artist Collaboration it has given them the opportunity to expand an event called Creative Market.

Because they were getting a great response with around 500 people walking through their vendor event they decided to keep it going through September and October.

We are told the event, which allows people to enjoy art and music, will give a sense of normalcy to people in the coming months and bring more opportunities to the area.

“Give something for people to do on a Monday, a lot of businesses are unfortunately not going to be opening this Fall because Seawitch isn’t happening downtown, so we’re excited to kind of keep the downtown commerce going,” Leah Beach, Founder and Executive Director of Developing Artist Collaboration, said.

The event will be taking place Mondays from 6 to 9 pm in the Rehoboth Ale House’s parking lot.

We are told the organization is looking forward to working with more poets, comedians, and musicians in the future.
