UPDATE: Victim identified in fatal Magnolia crash

MAGNOLIA, Del. — Delaware State Police say they’re investigating a fatal car crash that left one person in dead in Magnolia on Monday.

Police say the crash happened just before 2:15 p.m., at the intersection of Irish Hill Road and Lexington Mill Road.

We’re told a 41-year-old Magnolia woman, driving a 2015 Toyota Camry, was attempting to turn onto Irish Hill Road, when she pulled out directly into the path of an oncoming 2017 Suzuki GSX motorcycle.
Police say the motorcycle driver, identified as 50-year-old Keith Daniels of Magnolia, tried to avoid the crash, but lost control and hit the driver side of the vehicle.

Both drivers were taken to the hospital, where Daniels was pronounced dead.

The woman was treated for minor injuries.
