Bank of Ocean City donates money to OC paramedics to purchase PPE
OCEAN CITY, Md. – The Ocean City Fire Department is thanking the Bank of Ocean City for donating almost $5,000 to OC paramedics to purchase needed PPE.
We’re told when the pandemic first hit the shore, OCFD personnel were mandated to wear approved PPE, such as N95 masks, safety glasses, gloves, and gowns during medical emergencies for people who showed symptoms of COVID-19. OCFD says the donation from the bank has helped prepare their firefighters and paramedics with PPE that can be utilized now and in the future.
