Applications to open Sept. 9th for Delaware business relief grants

DELAWARE — A reminder for business owners in the state of Delaware, applications are set to open for the first round of grants from a $100 million COVID-19 relief fund for small businesses and nonprofits.

The state says that grants of up to $100,000 will be available. We’re told The Division of Small Business will begin accepting applications online starting Tuesday, Sept. 9th, at 10 a.m.
The director of the Delaware Division of Small Business, Damian DeStefano,  says this program is a way to support businesses and help the state’s economy as a whole.

Business owners must have a 2019 tax return, a Delaware business license and receipts for qualifying expenses. More details about eligibility and how the money can be used is available on their website at business.delaware.gov/coronavirus
