SU Police and Wicomico Co. Schools make first bike donation
SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury University Police Department teamed up with Wicomico County Public Schools to donate unclaimed bikes to the school’s SHOP program.
Those bikes were refurbished by students, and on Friday they made their first delivery. WCPS posted on Facebook about the delivery on Monday, saying school officials took bikes to the Joseph House in Salisbury. They said this delivery included some adult bikes for men in the Joseph House Workshop program to use as transportation to employment and some children’s bikes for families in need.
