State of Emergency issued for City of Dover

DOVER, Del. – Mayor Robin Christansen has issued a State of Emergency for the city as a result of Tropical Storm Isaias.

We’re told this includes driving restrictions. If you have a vehicle parked on the street where trees are down, officials are asking that you move it if possible to help utility and cleanup crews.

If possible, citizens should stay home and avoid unnecessary travel.  If you have to go out, officials are warning to be mindful of downed wires.
