Single vehicle crash under investigation in Worcester Co.
BERLIN, Md. – Maryland State Police are investigating a single vehicle crash that happened Thursday night in Berlin.
Troopers say they responded to the crash in the area of Route 611 and South Point Road just after 10 p.m. Preliminary investigation revealed that a Ford Ranger was traveling northbound on Route 611 at South Point Road when, for unknown reasons, it went offroad and hit a tree.
The driver, identified as 35-year-old Joshua Blank of Pittsville, was taken to PRMC for treatment of injuries sustained in the accident. A 16-year-old male passenger was flown by MSP Helicopter to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma to be treated for his injuries.
