Shots fired investigation underway in Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md. – Police say they are investigating after shots were fired in Salisbury early Monday morning.

We’re told at around 12:45 a.m., deputies with the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office responded to the West Road Apartments, located in the 1000 block of East Road, for a report of multiple shots being fired. Deputies located several shell casings in the parking lot of the 1010 apartment building, as well as on East Road in front of the apartments. Witnesses reported that multiple shots were fired, including from a white minivan that was seen fleeing the area.

No victims have come forward or have been located at area hospitals.
