Sheperd’s Office hands out free meals to those in need

GEORGETOWN, Del. – One local non-profit is making sure those in need of food are fed.

Jim Martin with the Sheperd’s Office posted on Facebook that they handed out free lunch from 5 until 6:30 on Tuesday in Georgetown. Martin said he expected to hand out about 120 meals for the homeless or hungry, donated from Rosenfeld’s Jewish Deli in Rehoboth.

Martin says he continues these acts of kindness at the Sheperd’s Office because they love their community and strive to help others in any way they can.
