UPDATE: Two dead in morning crash in Harbeson, names released
8/12 UPDATE: Delaware State Police have identified the victims in Tuesday morning’s double fatal crash in Harbeson.
The victims have been identified as 46-year-old Michelle Esworthy of Joppa, MD, and 76-year-old Robert Dahms of Spring Grove, PA.

HARBESON, Del. – Delaware State Police say they are continuing to investigate a double fatal crash that happened Tuesday morning in Harbeson.
We’re told the crash happened at around 6:40 a.m., when a Mazda 6 was traveling northbound on Harbeson Road south of Rust Road. For unknown reasons, the driver crossed the center line and entered directly into the path of a Hyundai Santa Fe, resulting in a near head-on collision.
The driver of the Mazda, a 46-year-old Joppa, MD woman was reportedly not properly restrained at the time of the crash. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Hyundai, a 76-year-old Spring Grove, PA man, was properly restrained. He was also pronounced dead at the scene.
