According to police, 26-year-old Angelina Lopez was originally charged with child abuse on June 5th and was issued a no-contact order with her 2-year-old son and permitted supervised visitation. Lopez arranged to visit her son on July 25th and reportedly stayed overnight at the residence. During the early morning hours of July 26th, Lopez took her son and fled to California.

An Amber Alert was subsequently issued for the child, and a warrant was obtained for Lopez. The child was found in Pasadena, California, however Lopez was not with her son at the time he was found.

On Wednesday, Lopez turned herself in to Georgetown Police. She was charged with non-compliance with bond conditions and held at SCI on a $50,000 cash bond.
