Salisbury community holds fundraiser for Denny Mogan

SALISBURY, Md. – People in Salisbury got together on Sunday to help support local business owner Denny Mogan who is currently battling terminal Bulbar onset ALS.

Members of the community gathered at the Market Street Inn to help raise money for Mogan, owner of Mogan’s Oyster House in downtown Salisbury.

People outside got the chance to enjoy bake sales and music and 50 percent of all sales made by the Market Street Inn went to the Mogan family.

And according to Mogan’s sister-in-law Michelle Low, there’s been an abundant amount of love and support for the family.

“I mean it’s just fantastic to see the community come together like they have to support Denny,” said Low.

“ALS is such a horrible disease and for everybody to come out and support Denny is just wonderful,” said Low.

Event organizers say there will be another fundraising event on September 13th at the Burley Oak Brewing Company.

There will be a live auction, live music and more.
