Rotary Club donates accessible pavilions to Field 7 1/2
SALISBURY, Md. – Communities and organizations continue to make contributions to make Field 7 1/2 a fun and enjoyable place for kids.
Field 7 1/2 aims to accommodate kids or adults with special needs. On Wednesday, the Rotary Club announced they donated two accessible pavilions to the Wicomico County Department of Recreation and Tourism for the field. The Rotary Club says they used a rotary grant and $3,000 of their own money to build the pavilions, which also have handicap as well as traditional seating.
The club says they were recently awarded another grant which will be used to make a changing room for the field as well.
