Ocean City Hotel-Motel-Restaurant Association honors hospitality workers
OCEAN CITY, Md. – The Ocean City Hotel-Motel-Restaurant Association is stepping up to the plate to honor local hospitality workers during the pandemic.
The group is highlighting hospitality workers who are nominated by co-workers or managers as part of their Hospitality Heroes Program.
They will be selecting a winner every single week until the end of August.
The winner is featured online and a 50 dollar gift card will be given from a local restaurant as well.
According to the Ocean City Hotel-Motel-Restaurant Association, these kinds of efforts help spread some much-needed positivity.
“So, we are hoping that during this time when everything is so challenging that people will read these stories and really feel the kindness and the love that’s going and hopefully it will help people spread a little kindness and do good,” said Ocean City Hotel-Motel-Restaurant Association Executive Director Susan Jones.
On September 1, the group will draw a winner out of the people who have been nominated for a 500 dollar cash prize.
