Man bikes 100 miles to raise money for autism awareness

DELAWARE – A man dedicated to raising money and awareness in childhood autism finished a 100 mile bike ride to raise money in Delaware.

On Thursday, Raymond Bryant picked up his bike to join thousands of people around the country in a 100 mile bike ride to support Autism Awareness and Disabilities. He started in Lewes, rode up to Denton, and back to the beach area. Overall,  Bryant raised just under $6,500, which is the largest amount for the DC to Dewey Beach Ride.

He says the challenge of a 100 mile bike ride is nothing compared to the challenges these young people faced and continue to face as they grow into adulthood.
