Easton man arrested for rape, sex abuse of a minor
EASTON, Md. – An Easton man has been charged after it was learned that he was having a sexual relationship with a female juvenile.
According to police, in August of this year, a female juvenile reported that 36-year-old Carlos Lopez Cruz had been having a sexual relationship with her since November of 2016. Following a thorough investigation, Lopez was charged with the following:
- Second degree rape
- Second degree sex offense
- Two counts of third degree sex offense
- Two counts of second degree assault
- Two counts of sex abuse of a minor
- Sex abuse of a minor continuing course of conduct.
He was held without bond.
