Documentary tells story of Chandler Moore and his battle against a rare disease

GEORGETOWN, Del. – A Delaware man is celebrating the release of a documentary of his son’s life and his battle against a rare disease.
Clinton Moore from Georgetown has been advocating for his son Chandler who got diagnosed with Cystinosis at just 10 months old.
The new documentary called Walk In My Shoes walks viewers through what it was like when Chandler who is 15 now was first diagnosed with the disease and how difficult it was for his dad to accept the doctor’s conclusion.
Clinton says his goal is to bring attention to the disease and uplift others.
He says he won’t stop until a cure is found.
“What I ultimately wanted is what I got. I did not want a sad, sad story about this kid with a rare disease,” said Clinton Moore.
“That’s not what it’s about,” said Clinton, “What I wanted was a powerful, uplifting and inspirational story…”
Clinton tells 47ABC that Chandler is doing fairly well and that he is now recovering from a severe bone health issue.
He is also in the middle of his driver’s ed course.
