Coastal Kids Consignment Sales event wraps up

SALISBURY, Md. – The three-day Coastal Kids Consignment Sales event at the Wicomico Civic Center wrapped up on Sunday.

The annual event was a chance for shoppers to buy all kinds of items for children at lower costs.

Items included clothing, toys, baby gear, games and more.

According to the event organizer, Vicki Burns, many families have lost their jobs amid the coronavirus pandemic.

So, events like this are helpful and according to Burns, it’s been harder for families to find the items they need in stores as well.

“We’ve seen a lot of families come in who are very appreciative and they have less options and they don’t want to go from store to store looking for things,” said Burns.

“So, it’s nice because they have all the clothing for the various sizes that they need,” said Burns.

There are plans to hold another consignment sale next year, according to Burns.
