Coastal Hospice honoring community members during pandemic

SALISBURY, Md. – A hospice care organization in Salisbury is continuing to honor people in the community who have touched the lives of others during the pandemic.

The campaign is called “Honor an Angel”, and this week’s angel was David Schwarten. Schwarten was submitted to Coastal Hospice by a woman named Beth Gismondi, who says David keeps all the stuff, nurses, and essential computers running 24/7 for the Hospice team. She adds that he is a priceless asset for the hospice community.

Since the beginning of this campaign, others have been honored on the wall, such as Grace Murdock and other Hospice employees.
