Chesapeake Housing Mission, SU teams perform 500th home repair project

SALISBURY, Md. – Over the weekend, the Chesapeake Housing Mission and the Salisbury University Residence Life team and staff performed their 500th home repair project.

The organizations teamed up to build a new wheelchair ramp for Mrs. Madeline W., a 73-year-old widow who says it has become increasingly difficult for her to navigate. The Mission says they are grateful to have been able to serve so many on the Eastern Shore, and on their Facebook page they posted a big thank you to all of their supporters for making these projects possible.
