Cambridge non-profit announces success in cleanup event

CAMBRIDGE, Md. – Last week, the High 5 Initiative asked for more volunteers to help out with their Cambridge Creek Kayak cleanup event.

On Tuesday, they were proud to announce that with the help of all the volunteers, they got 190 pounds of trash out of the creek and shoreline. Organizers of the event thanked the volunteers on Facebook and all other organizations who helped by making donations. They say they will have more cleanup efforts in September and October.
