Adopt-A-Block holds distribution event in Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md. – Hundreds of boxes of food got distributed today to families in need at Prince Street Elementary School in Salisbury.

The event was led by the Emmanuel Wesleyan Church Adopt-A-Block Outreach Mobile Meals Program.

Baby items and hygiene products were given out as well.

Meanwhile, other organizations like the Wicomico Public Libraries helped with the distribution of educational resources.

“We want to show that we love everyone regardless of who you are, rich or poor, black or white, we love you and we just want to show that by passing out this food and the supplies,” said the Emmanuel Wesleyan Church Adopt-A-Block Director Mark Thompson.
