Did you know that in order to have a perfect fireworks show, it’s more than just a clear night. This Weather Tidbits explains 5 factors that affect fireworks, which are drought, rain and humidity, wind, temperature and lightning. The most dangerous factor is lightning, in that it can strike unlit fireworks setting them off along with a lightning strike to spectators. Another big factor is wind, which can either keep the smoke stagnant when calm or blow embers to spectators and vegetation if windy.
