Talbot Co. teacher retires after 44 years

TALBOT CO., Md. – After 44 years of hard work, one local teacher is leaving the classroom with a lot of love and support around her.

On Tuesday, Dr. Sherry Sutton finished up her last day with the Talbot County Public Schools. Sutton has served as a supervisor, elementary math teacher, Gifted and Talented program member, and new teachers and mentors leader. In a Facebook post, Talbot County Public School says “to say she will be missed is an understatement.”
