SU graduate wins at National Association of Teachers of Singing National Student auditions

SALISBURY, Md. – One Salisbury University alumnus ended his undergraduate studies on a high note.

Recent SU graduate Jeremiah Copeland is being highlighted for winning his category at the National Association of Teachers of Singing National Student auditions. Copeland’s victory in the Upper College Men’s Musical Theater category marks the third year in a row an SU student has finished in the top 3 in their category at the national level.

The Salisbury native earned a $1,600 cash prize for his efforts. Copeland says he’s been competing in this competition for years, some not making past Regionals. For him to win the entire category for his senior year, he says feels good to win despite the challenging and unprecedented times.
